GUÍA DE ISORA (Spanish Champ.a)

The fourth round of the 2019 Spanish Hillclimb Championship was held at Guía de Isora the 7th, 8th and 9th of June. The Tenerife's event started badly but ended up pretty well for the Speed Car driver Edgar Montellá. An electrical problem in free practice mean his team has to change the battery, the regulator and the alternator. An issue that didn't allow him to enter the first official practice when Edgar was needing such experience to know a track new to him. Anyway, the young Andorra born driver fared quite well in the two race climbs held on Saturday, being fourth on both. A position he repeated in the final race climb, on Sunday, to end up in the same position at the end of the weekend.

Edgar Montellà
(4th cat.2)

With this fourth position, scored after finishing ahead of his closest followers in the championship, Montellà consolidates his third place in the category 2 of the Spanish series, whisn next round will be almost the home race for the Andorra born driver, the Alp2500 hillclimb due mid July at the Catalonian Pirinees.
