At Arteixo, Aranda and his TTR were again among the faster along the whole weekend. After winning one of his heats, the Potarrojos' driver was in the battle for the first position in the final and finally ended up second under the chequered flag, just half a second shy of the winner after the eight laps of the race. With this result, Aranda's total is 98 points and leads the championship by two points from the second and three from the third, wich announces a very exciting fight between the top three in the remaining rounds of the season.
