The 2018 Spanish Autocross Championship run its fourth round of the season at Mollerusa. The Autocross Ara Lleida, the older event of the national series and the home race for Speed Car, produced yet another positive outcome for the drivers racing at the wheel of the cars built by Industrias Lahoz.

It was almost a whitewash by Juan Jose Aranda with his Speed Car TTR. The 'Potarrojos Competición' won the two heats on Saturday and clearly beat all his rivals in the final, crossing the finish line almost 20 seconds ahead of the next competitors after the 10 laps of the race. A huge advantage to score his second win of the season that puts Aranda on the title figth of the Division III.
There were mixed feelings for the two other Speed Car drivers at Mollerusa. Delfín Lahoz crashed out of the event in the first heat while her daughter, Ares, completed yet another good race weekend to finish the final in the fifth position with her TTX.
Juan José Moll shown again his superiority in the always competitive Car Cross category. The Speed Car won his three heats and didn't give any chance to his rivals in the final, scoring yet another victory, the third of the year and also his third win at the circuit of Mollerusa. A new success that confirms Moll, current Spanish champion, as the main favourite to win the title at the end of the season.
As well as winning with Moll, the Xtrem were again the car of choice in a round of the national series. Sixteen from the thirtysix entrants were at the wheel of the Speed Car model, and sixth got the final for the best fifteen.
The second Speed Car driver in the final was Josep Arqué, who crossed under the chequered flag in tenth position, just ahead of his team mates Pau Aulet, Jordi Puigvert and David Megías, who finished from 11th to 13th. Josep Vila completed the presence of the Xtrem in the final being 15th.
The young Speed Car drivers, Pol Catalá and Arnau Biosca, were again on the podium of the Junior category at Mollerusa. This time the second position was for Arnau, who goes on with his continuous improvement and gets closer to his first win, while Pol finiahed third and keeps his great streak of results with four podiums in as many races this season after scoring a win, two seconds and a third that put him firmly in the fight for the championship.
The other two Xtrem in the race were driven by Eduard Bañeres, who improved in one position his result in lleida, crossing the finish line in fifth position, and Josep Aranda, who completed the final in the eight place.
