DIVISION III

Juanjo Aranda
(1st Div.III)

Aranda on the top of the Division III podium

Delfín Lahoz
(6th Div.III)

The rain felt over the 'circuit Municipal de la Serra de Mollerusa' made specially difficult the racing for the powerfull prototypes of the division III. Given the bad conditions of the track and the weather forecast, announcing yet more rain, drivers and stewards agreed to don't run the final so the podium was set by the starting grid position asigned following the points scored in the heats. The first position went that way to Juanjo Aranda, again among the fastest the whole weekend with his Speed Car TTR, with a win, a second and a four position in his three heats. Things tourned up a bit worse for Delfín Lahoz, who was the fastetst in qualifying but couldn't finish the first heat, which sent him to the sixth position overall despite being second and third in the other two.

Jordi Nualart
(3rd CarCross)

Jordi Puigvert
(8th CarCross)

Juan José Moll stays clearly on top of the Car Cross Spanish Championship after being second at Mollerusa. That this is his worst result so far this season is a testament of the domination in the category by the Speed Car driver. At Mollerusa he had to recover in the fina, started from sixth position after a penalty in the second heath, only hucup in yet another almost perfect score, after being second and first in the other two.

On the final podium Moll was meet by another Speed Car driver, Jordi Nualart, who started fourth from the grid and was third after a realyl tough race given the track conditions caused by the rain.

Joaquín Fontán
(8th CarCross)

David Casadevall
(13th CarCross)

Manuel Moya
(8th Final B)

Very close to the podium finiahed Jordi Puigvert, who was fourth, so there were three Xtrem in the top four position. Two more Speed Car got to the final for the best 15 of the weekend. The one driven by Joaquín Fontan finished eight while David Casadevall couldn't complete a very eventfull first lap.

As well as having a rthird of the cars in the final, Speed Car was, once again, the more represented brand in a national race as this time eleven out of the twenty six entrants were at the wheel of the Xtrems built and designed by Industrias Lahoz.
