The 11th running of the 'Tramo Cronometrado Subida a La Cabrera' was held on Saturday the 25th of March. Counting towards the Madrid Hillclimb Championship, the event produced great results for the three SPEEDCAR clients in the race, with victory going to Juan Castillo (SPEEDCAR GTR), while Antonio Rueda (SPEEDCAR XTR) was third and fourth position went to Pedro Flores (SPEEDCAR Xtrem).
The hillclimb was held over four runs, two practice and two timed, over a 3400 meters route placed between the 4.9 and 1.5 kilometers marks of the M124 road.
From the first practice it the clear superiority of Castillo at the wheel of his SPEEDCAR GTR was obvious. The Cantabria born driver ended up being the fastest on the four runs held during the day, winnign with the time set on the first race climb, 1,49,869. Castillo was the only of the more than 40 competitors who went under 1:50, winning by more than nine seconds.
Third position overall went to another SPEEDCAR, the Xtrem driven by Antonio Rueda, who won among the Car Cross cars after a close fight with his brand mate, Pedro Flores, fourth overall just five tenths shy of third position.
