The second round of the 2020 Spanish Hillclimb Championship was run the Saturday 24th of October at the 'Isla de Ibiza hillclimb' and was won in the category 2 by Raúl Ferré at the wheel of a Speed Car GTR.

The young Andorra born driver has already been in the fight for the win the previous week at the first round of the national series, the Bolulla-Tárbena hillclimb, where he finished second among the 'CM-Promotion' drivers and got to the third step of the overall podium. Just seven days later, Raúl confirmed his speed and the performances of the CM built by Industrias Lahoz scoring his first win in the Spanish Championship.

Ferré was the fastest of the category 2 in the three timed climbs on the Ibiza hillclimb, a very technical course, 4 kilometers long, that suited perfectly both the driver and the Speed Car GTR. As well as winning the category 2, Raúl was second in the overall standings of the event.

Ferré's win at Ibiza puts the Automóvil Club de Andorra driver on the lead of the Spanish Hillclimb Championship category 2 ahead of the final round of the series, due the 14th and 15th of November at the Estepona - Peñas Blancas hillclimb.
